SENSE OF A JOURNEY
The plot already had several defined areas – a main terrace, a pool and an orchard. The new design threads these areas together, whilst integrating additional space for entertaining, a kitchen garden and a utility area. The garden now provides a sense of journey, encouraging exploration of the entire space.
TRANSITION FROM GARDEN TO COUNTRYSIDE
Linear repetition brings a sense of order, accentuated by the pergola and the plank paths. There is a dynamic tension between the organic curved planting beds and the stark linearity – the loose meadow style planting softens the aesthetic, creating a wilder, more informal look and seamless transition between garden and countryside.
Tabitha created a beautiful design for our garden. She was easy to work with and really understood the brief. Highly recommend.
