A WOODLAND GARDEN IN OXFORDSHIRE
Inspiration was drawn from the local woodland, seen from the garden. The connection to this ‘borrowed landscape’ is reinforced by the existing mature trees and Beech hedge on the site.
A SERIES OF WOODLAND GLADES
A series of woodland glades provide a tranquil enclosed space concealed from those outside it. Wow-factor specimen trees define the spaces, with a meandering path that leads to a secluded seating area at the end of the garden.
The planting scheme is green and lush with form and textural interest. The interplay of light and shade within the garden serves to heighten these contrasts. A changing palette of muted colours adds a further layer of interest.
Tabitha helped us articulate our garden ideas and converted them into an original and delightful garden design. The result was a beautiful tranquil space, reflecting the borrowed landscape of our woodland setting.
